Peter Jackson brings the One Ring story to life in a so good way, that I cant imagine another director filming this movie. The movie slowly but brightly introducing the mythology, habitats and lifestyles of Tolkien's creatures - especially if you watching the extended version.
No doubts, it's one of the biggest adventures movies of our time.
