Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) by Nate Q — 01 Dec 2013

There are a million reasons to love these movies. The cinematography is perfect, the acting is top notch, the characters are memorable, the story is great and the battles are awesome, but when I reflect on why these are my favorite movies I find the true reason is that, unlike any other movies I have ever seen, the Lord of Rings has true heart.

These movies are realistic without being cynical, dark without being sickening, meaningful without being cheesy, and emotional without being stupid. Watch them now (suggest the extended editions).
