Review of The Lookout (2007) by Atul K — 09 Aug 2008
Fantastic film from Scott Frank (writer of OUT OF SIGHT and GET SHORTY) that has a terrific cast ensemble. Joesph Gordon Levitt, all grown up, is a major player in the film. Levitt shows strong acting skills and battles internal and external dmeons through out the film.
Jeff Daniels is always a charm and his witty and sonewhat sad portrayal of a scheming blind man cannot be missed. The film is VERY well paced and some parts of the moving leave you gripping your seat with angst.
Highly recommended for fans of: Running Scared (Paul Walker), Undworld (Denis Leary), Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrell, Snatch, etc.
