Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a wonderful actor and I'm happy to see him popping up in leading roles. I just wish that it could have been in something a little more... more. Don't get me wrong, The Lookout is a good movie, nice pacing, and thank you Scott Frank for focusing on characterization.
My only complaint is that it seems to build up to nothing and everything it just way to predictable. It really had the potential to be phenomenal instead of just good.
