Review of The Lookout (2007) by Rodney H — 20 Dec 2009
This is a really fine film. There are many bank heists movies out there but none are as realistically character driven as this one. Daniels and Gordon-Levitt are both fantastic. This film reminds me of "Fargo" but without the tongue-in-cheek humor.
Chris and Lewis are both such human characters that they are truly easy to believe in. Greg Dunham is malevolent as Bone and Matthew Goode is both charismatic, arrogant, and sly as Gary Spargo.
