Review of The Lookout (2007) by Guido S — 24 Feb 2014
This was a film I didn't like when I first saw it, but having seen how everyone else loves it, I decided to give it a second shot. JGL is a former hockey star who is injured in a car accident and now is disabled and has memory issues.
He lives with a blind Jeff Bridges to try and live a life and make something of himself by going to support classes and working as a janitor at a local bank. One day, he meets some people who get him to help them to rob the bank by opening the doors for them and watching out.
Eventually, things do not go as planned, but he takes the money and they come after him. Does about what one might expect given the material, but it seemed a little short since it moves pretty quickly and isn't that long.
I did like it upon a second viewing though.
