Review of The Lookout (2007) by Lia D — 06 Feb 2010
The directorial debut of established screenplay writer (Out of Sight, Get Shorty, Minority Report) is an off beat but unusually smart and entertaining heist drama. Gordon-Levitt proves, once again, that he easily can carry a film on his own, and especially Jeff Daniels works really well.
Even though you expect some of the plot turns the movie is very well told.
