Review of The Lookout (2007) by Rachael H — 14 Oct 2010
Joseph Gordon-Levitt puts on a great performance here, making this into a just above average film. The plot's interesting, though this is more of a character study about a guy after he's involved in a tragic incident. Now he doesn't know what he's suppose to do with his life...
I really enjoyed the amusing scene where Chris tells the story of Goldie Locks! There are some well written comedy scenes, even in such a serious film.
The climax of the film could have been delivered better but the build up made up for that. The actual robbery is shot well and very intense. Thumbs up to watch this, mostly if you like Gordon-Levitt or traumatic character studies..
