Review of The Lookout (2007) by Kyall S — 09 Jan 2011
The Lookout centres around Chris a once popular and talented athlete who's life takes a drastic change after a car accident.
In the wake of his repercussions, he realises he is not the same person he once was and struggles with many day to day activities. He decides to get involved in a heist at the bank in which he works as a cleaner after befriending Gary Spargo at a bar who has been planning it for quite some time and decides to use Chris. However, Chris's only interest is getting his life back to what it once was.
What keeps The Lookout strong is the great performances, especially from Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Jeff Daniels as Chris's blind friend whom he shares an apartment with and the clever script which keep this from being another run of the mill heist movie.
