I'll concur that Gordon-Levitt is going places, but this movie never quite does. I guess I shouldn't be chastising a Hollywood film for taking too much time to develop characters, but the actual plot turned out to be so relatively simple.
.. it's kind of like they thought they had a slow burn going when they forgot to light a fire in the first place.
