Great war film, covering the events of D-Day from different perspectives (with the directors from the relevant countries for added authenticity). Saving Private Ryan gave us the horrors of war, this gave us the glory.
And of course a massive star-studded cast that paved the way for some of the classic ww2 movies of the 1970's.
