Classic big budget WWII drama. This sweaping epic show the D-Day Invasion from the perspective of many groups: American, British, and Free French troops, as well as the French Resistance and the German command. A ton of well known stars of the time, some in bit pieces are part of this. They had many consultants on the film who were actually part of the Invasion (on both sides) and who were shown in the film.
Maybe not the personal impact of more recent works like "Saving Private Ryan" or "Band of Brothers", but a great flik.
