Might be the best pure war film ever made about WWII (Along with the Battle of the Bulge). Good job by a very large and impressive cast, and gives a better sense of the horrors that these men went through than almost every other movie made about this subject until the late 1970â??s.
Entertaining and pretty historically accurate. I liked how they told as many stories as they could without getting too convoluted and overwhelming you with characters. Thereâ??s far to much that happened during D-Day than a movie can get across by following just one protagonist.
