I've always loved this film. Filmed on location in Normandy (as opposed to "Saving Private Ryan' being filmed in Ireland) and based on the brilliant book of the same name by Cornelius Ryan, this movie has more stars in it than you can poke a stick at.
Where else can you see Richard Burton, John Wayne, Robert Mitchum and Henry Fonda in the one movie.
