Oh, what a disappointment. As a fan of screwball comedies, Lucy and the Golden Age of Hollywood, I couldn't help but feel that this film was seriously lacking. Firstly, this is more a Desi vehicle than a Lucy vehicle (pun definitely intended).
Secondly, most of the gags do NOT work. The direction is inept and leaves the gags (particularly the visual ones) thudding onto the film like a discarded bad novel. Just watch a few episodes of "I Love Lucy".
