Review of The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) by Nicholas D — 02 Feb 2008
I usually hate Renny Harlin and his films. He bastardized the Die Hard series with the second film. His movies always rely on ridiculous stunts and explosions and non-stop language.
However, from time to time he makes a watchable action flick, and this was one of them. The grenades and grenade launchers were retarded and unbelievable, the ending was corny, and the language was unnecessarily bad. However, Samuel L. Jackson, a few cool scenes, and a few interesting plot ideas saved this from being a usual Renny Harlin flop.
