Review of The Long Goodbye (1973) by Allen T — 18 Jun 2007
Another great Altman film from the 1970s. Elliott Gould is a convincing Marlowe transplanted from the deeply shadowed film noir world of Bogie's Marlowe to sunny 1970s California. Only the bad guys here are more vicious and the ladies only seem less conniving.
