Review of The Long Goodbye (1973) by Chris G — 18 Jan 2008
My favorite Robert Altman movie, just ahead of California Split. Gould's interpretation of Marlowe is so counter-intuitive, but it is amazing. Gives a sense of California in the early 70's better than any other movie I have seen.
Certainly not for everyone's taste, but I enjoyed it a great deal.
