Review of The Long Good Friday (1980) by Aidan H — 17 Jul 2007
Although not such a classic as Get carter, this exciting and grim thriller marked a change in Brit cinema. Bob is compelling as the brutish gangster set to reap the rewards of new business oppotunities in London's Docklands until the attentions of the IRA force him to return to his nasty roots.
Great performances all rahnd.
