Review of The Long Good Friday (1980) by Adrian A — 30 May 2008
I adore British movies and this one is a classic that I never got round to watching until recently.
If Bob Hoskins is involved you can bet your bottom dollar it's going to be worth watching, and when he's supported by a strong cast your money is going to be well spent.
It was also great to see Derek Thompson (Charlie Fairhead from Casualty) in another role other than that for which he is best known.
A tense and atmospheric movie which keeps you on the edge of your seat and one I highly recommend.
