Review of The Long Good Friday (1980) by John M — 14 Jun 2012
Good performances all round. Violent, original and one of the greatest british gangster films ever. Hoskins' speech at the end is a ripper. "The mafia, I shit'em." Thank god for George Harrison for buying it and saving it from being butchered.
Too good for television.
