Review of The Long Good Friday (1980) by Jonathan P — 26 Jun 2008
Bob Hoskins was incredible. I wouldn't be surprised if Joe Pesci watched this before his spot in Goodfellas. Overall the plot was jerky and took too many liberties, especially in the final act. The cinematography was above average for a gangster film.
All in all a decent flick for anyone interested in crime.
