Review of The Long Good Friday (1980) by Jonathan B — 21 Nov 2010
Bob Hoskins and his character are a marvel here, as he makes for one of the most well rounded and complicated gangsters put to screen. The writing is also intelligent and does a pretty good job at throwing you into things while avoiding cliches.
