Review of The Lone Ranger (2003) by Rob N — 25 Apr 2014

I thought the overall story was good and entertaining, & Johnny Depp had several Jack Sparrow-esq comedic moments, but I didn't like that the story was contained inside another story told by an old Tanto & the constant interruptions back to the "present day" where old Tanto would do something stupid and pointless was just distracting and brought any momentum the movie had built to a halt.

Also having the Lone Ranger have a romantic love interest in his recently widowed sister-in-law is pushing the creepy-line.
