I tend to ignore paid reviews due to the fact those people are out of touch with what makes a good movie. They are more interested in fluffing their writer's pen and churning out an easy paycheck than paying attention to the film.
The Lone Ranger was fun. It was exactly what I expected it to be... A western Pirates of the Caribbean. Depp was great. Hammer made a charming do-gooder Lone Ranger. The adventure was action filled and laced with whit and laugh-out-loud comical moments.
A highly underrated family film unfairly trashed by "reputable" industry hacks.
