Review of The Lone Ranger (1956) by Caroline J — 05 May 2014
The lone ranger was allot better than expected. Funny throughout the adventure mainly due to the charisma of Depp's ability to play Tonto the native american warrior who becomes a friend side by side with John Reid (hammer). The pair were not overly fussed on each other to begin with but become a great pairing by the end of the movie. The masked hero brought back to life in this 2013 tale.
A lengthy film with a few slow moments but all draws together nicely and forms an enjoyable film.
Very good visually and the score was excellent well matched to the movie. The white horse is again a star of the show, appearing whenever needed and adds to the humour given by Tonto.
