Review of The Loft (2014) by Solidity Q — 16 Aug 2015
It is as bad as the other reviews warn, useful only for future screen acting classes on the benefits of hands-to-your-mouth-to-express-shock-and-grief acting. An equal opportunity offender, it presents viewers with a plethora of unlikeable one-dimensional screenwriting character tropes put in service of a whodunit that's ultimately as unsatisfying as the actors' line readings.
Sadly, there's probably a decent tale to be made from this premise; but who would try to write it now?
