Review of The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927) by Leika R — 05 Jul 2007
What happens when a young Hitchcock combines the mystery of London fog, a series of blonde murders, and the ever so mysterious and exciting matinee idol of the 1920's Ivor Novello? The best film that ever happend to me, that's it!! This film made me fall in love with silent cinematography an the gorgeously and notoriously gay Ivor Novello.
Watch it, patiently, and most preferably, in a a very dark place on a large screen and turn the tunes up.
