Hitch's early effort is interspersed with some sparkling technical and picture techniques. And while this film isn't exactly full of the taught thrills that Hitchcock became loved for, the writing was clearly on the wall.
Was lucky enough to see this the other night with a live band soundrack, which pushed the enjoyment somewhat.
