Review of The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927) by Cyberdine1000 . — 09 Jul 2007
Easily my favorite silent film. So atmospheric. The scene where Ivor Norvello just peers down at the mother in the doorway is so scary. those eyes. Ivor Novello is also one of the greatest talent os the American and British stage, screen and radio.
Very underrated and his story is so interesting. Beautiful showmanship for it's time too...the scene with the glass ceiling is especially impressive. Thumbs up.
