Review of The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927) by Matt D — 06 Dec 2008
This is honestly my first silent film, excluding The Battleship Potemkin which really made me fall asleep while watching it. A lodger becomes a suspect for the crimes involving blonde women because of his obsession with a blonde woman, his eccentric behavior and his irrational fear of the portraits of yellow-haired women at the house.
Alfred Hitchcock evidently shows his fetish for and personal obsession with blonde women.
