"David lives in a society where single people have 45 days to find true love, or else they are turned into the animal of their choice and released into the woods".
The Lobster is an unsettling thriller, but such a joy to become immersed in. You need an especially dark taste of humor and a fair amount of cynicism of the human condition to appreciate this movie.
This is a satire sharp enough to cut through any relationship status, and be warned: it will likely leave you with some scars.
