Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Ryan R — 03 Feb 2008
Dalton makes a boring, stale Bond in this dated late-80s spy thriller.
Ten reasons why Dalton is cr*p as James Bond.
1. He is rude and shouts at women - "GET IN THE CAR!" "DO AS I SAY!".
2. He is arrogant.
3. His smile makes me cringe, on both the inside and outside.
4. He is not charming.
5. He smirks.
6. He takes himself too seriously and has trouble with humour.
7. Dalton as Bond is almost neurotic, flying from happy to RAGING.
8. He has ANGER MANAGEMENT ISSUES and MURDERS BALLOONS and HAS TO HAVE HIS WAY ALL THE TIME *STAMP STAMP*.
9. He makes Bond too personal, to both Kara and curly in The Living Daylights.
10. His brand of violence is brutal, animalistic and humourless- when the baddie dies, there's no pun at the end.
The top parts of this film are.
1. The Soviet at the end of the pipeline, who uses her womanly chams to distract a supervisor.
2. Q's lab.
