Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Mark D — 30 Apr 2008
Timothy Dalton's first go at Bond isn't all that bad. It's certainly an improvement over the dregs of the Moore era.
The Aston Martin in this one is awesome and there are some superb stunts (namely the fight scene off the back of a Soviet cargo plane over Afghanistan). The babe, though, not so much. Her role reminds us of Jane Seymour's in LALD, only this woman is not JS.
This one is also curious because the "mujahdeen" are good guys. It's all about perspective isn't it?
