Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Alexander K — 07 May 2008
Timothy Dalton's first outing as Bond completely turns the series around, out of the humiliating downward spiral that was the Roger Moore years. Dalton brings an intensity and seriousness to Bond that won't be seen again until Casino Royale.
The plot is a good one and the Bond gadgetry is kept to a realistic minimum. Great Bond movie, don't let anybody tell you Timothy Dalton sucked, tell'um Roger Moore sucked.
