Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Daniel T — 31 Jul 2014
(The rating for this film is decided in respect to all other Bond films and not films in general) - 'The Living Daylights' is flawed as nearly all Bond films are, but Dalton brings a breath of fresh air with his more serious take on the character whilst providing just as much suave and charm as Connery.
The fault lies in the romantic plot line (which feels very un-Bond like) and forgettable villains; nonetheless the film is filled with plenty of action, twists and a brilliant opening sequence.
