Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Galaxy Quest P — 21 Sep 2012
I am not that big a fan of Timothy Dalton as Bond, as I don't think he carries the right look and demeanor to pull off the Bond character. The movie isn't too bad, good action and a decent story that seemed to be a little simple for a Bond film that didn't require a lot of gadgets and large locations.
It carried a lot of the trademark scenes such as the chases, the girl that can't think straight after she sees Bond and the big action war scene at the end. It didn't quite have a Bond movie feel to it though and that is what really affected my impression on the film, a good spy movie but a poor Bond movie.
