The Lives of Others is unlike any other spy film unlike the usuals. Its a very quiet movie running at an even quieter pace Supported by brilliant script n superb performances, The Lives of Others is a study of human nature.
There are no chases, no action as such which are usual elements in any general spy film, but the wonderful script is a powerful weapon in this movie n still manages to elevate the tension as the movie progresses, which finally leads to a very satisfying conclusion.
A little overrated, in my opinion, but a good movie nonetheless.
