Review of The Lives of Others (2006) by Eliot W — 18 Mar 2012
Just a bit slow and perhaps felt it couldve been cut a little with the amount of dialogue but great set of conflict and circumstances for the characters. It was nice to see a film set in the east west torn Germany after world war two getting near to the time the wall was torn down.
Also great to see the arc of the vehement socialist party agent, for lack of better terms, and his subtle change as he monitors the lives of these writers, directors, and actors.
