Review of The Little Prince (2015) by Annie F — 07 Dec 2015

I saw this when I was in China, and I was so surprised they didn't have this in theaters here in Canada :O I saw it in a theater, with full-on Chinese dubs. The dubs were HORRIBLE. Absolutely the worst. I was lip-reading the whole time trying to get a better feel for the tone. Looking forward to getting my hands on this DVD.

The animation, on the other hand, was absolutely TERRIFIC. I loved the story, I loved the visuals, I loved the ambiguity, I loved all the symbolism...Very fitting that this particular existential piece came out of a French studio :P I loved analyzing it, and did I mention that I loved the story? Also the mixture of 3D and stop-motion animation was so good! This might be one of my favourite animated movies ever.
