Review of The Little Prince (2015) by Joanne O — 28 Nov 2018
This film is a wonderful 3D animated story wrapped around the key story of The Little Prince. The narrative story highlights the performance pressures of the modern world and it's effects on young children while also outlining the importance of keeping one's inner child and imagination alive, even as an adult.
The story of the Little Prince itself is beautifully crafted in stop motion and perfectly captures the spirit of the original book by Antione de Saint-Exupéry.
I believe the 3D animated narrative story make the Prince's story easily accessible to Pixar lovers who are unfamiliar with the book and I am hopeful that it inspires them to read 1943 original.
