Review of The Little Prince (2015) by Anne S — 05 Aug 2016
This film takes a classic and splices it with predictable drivel. I felt like there were moments when the actual story was fleetingly represented. Some characters from the book (the drunk, the explorer, and the astrologer) never appear.
Spoiler: Having the prince reappear grown up really ruined it. The film makers clearly did not understand the original book, so elegant in its simplicity and ambiguity. Don't waste your time. it's still true.
