The people rating it low obviously didn’t see the film and are just review bombing out of hate. Don’t let the trailers fool you, this film was not only beautiful but it looked way better on the big screen.
Halle Bailey is the perfect Ariel and I fell in love Ariel and Eric’s romance it reminded me of old Disney, Jess Alexander who played Vanessa was amazing! She owned every scene she was in, love the diversity of the sisters and how much more scenes they have than the original and the new music was really fun to actually see played out with the scenes….
Yes even Scuttlebutt. In my honest opinion this version is a little bit better than the original. I love the new scenes and the actual friendship to romance that Ariel and Eric developed. Would definitely recommend and ignore the angry bitter trolls.
