I was very disappointed with this movie. The little mermaid is one of my favorite stories and I was so excited to see an actual movie being made about it. The trailers and previews I saw for it looked awesome and I couldn't wait but instead what could of been a great movie with really cool effects and characters was turned into a lackluster film with bad acting and laughable special effects and overly cliche characters.
Now the actress that played the little mermaid was charming in her part and I'm sure my 7 year old neice would like the movie but that's who this movie is for a young child and that's the only people it will impress.
It just really sucks they took such a great and fun idea and turned it into such a disappointment. Also the ending is confusing. What a let down.
