Review of The Little Mermaid (2018) by Matt M — 29 Aug 2018
Unfortunately this film simply didn't cut it for me. As another critic stated, every character is a cliche. The acting was questionable and the directing was very Broadway-ish for a motion picture.
Without the acting chops of William Moseley, Poppy Drayton, and Shirley Maclaine, I don't think this film would've made it out of the studio. I will sate, however, that this is definitely a film that caters to the average family that would like a safe escape from reality free from profanity and violence.
