Review of The Lion King (1994) by Josh L — 31 Dec 2012
This movie was part of my childhood, like many others' as well. And while I have began to realize it as the shameless rip-off it is (just google "Kimba the White Lion"), that doesn't change the fact that it is still a very well made film.
Memorable characters along with great musical numbers and surprisingly emotional scenes make up what many, including me, would call a modern day classic. The animation is top-notch too, and has no problem holding up to today's standards.
All in all the Lion King is a classic film that really should be seen by any animation fan or fans of film in general. 4 out of 5 Stars.
