The lion king a movie so nostalgic that hits a lot hearts for its amazing animation, visuals and story making it one of Disney's best but not the greatest (send in the hate mail). what I mean by that though it has a very awesome well paced story similar to Hamlet and a gross so large that not only didn't allow great animation but marks it as the highest grossed animated film of all time but that doesn't mean it does have nitpick flaws (to those who dont' want to read that skip ahead a bit).

first off the music and no i'm talking about the orchestral background music that is actually very epic along with the circle of life that is pretty heart lifting, and be prepared after listening to it is actually kind of cool but there are some though catchy that tend to be overated and if played to long can burn your brain. example would be Hakauna mahata a popular song that is just as popular as Let it Go from frozen but much like that song it can get easily overused and lead to boredom. some might say the same about Can You Feel the love tonight but personally I'm gonna say it I like that song to me its peaceful, calm and actually sets the tone just fine in the film so don't go goo-goo me for it.

another is scar the villian and for the record, I don't hate scar his like nostalgia a good villian you always remember but that doesn't make him the best. I mean from the beginning he is very cool has unique style to his character and is one of the only villains that actually kills the main character. but after that he stops as if being king is was his only goal jafar was better because even when he did take over he still kept coming with evil stuff like forcing jasmine to fall in love with him and abusing Genies power to become more powerful that is actually clever but scar he just stops like their is nothingmore to do heck the animators had a great to put in a scene that he was forcing nala to marry him so he could prolong his rule but she declines and he banishs her and the reasons for kicking it out are kind of vague but their is not much bad to about him the least.

next up the king of memes world himself Mufasa yes I'm taking him on no one stop me. again I like mufasa he has a strong teacher father like style to him its like listening to gods words of love and compassion while also being tough wise at the same time making him the perfect being too perfect in fact. Yeah thats my problem the fact made him to much like god, I'm not he is its just he feels like it he is god the problem with that is it makes him too perfect and Yeah get he is the role model the mentor the guy we look up to but I see other movie mentor and there not as this perfect they have flaws, situation because that what was made them mentors they got wiser and made mistakes which made them even more smarter here its just a guy how can play god which don't I have problem with but it can lead into some major nitpicks that actually turn into facts.

But despite its nitpicks and flaws I still like it its childhood classic no one can kill it. Its much like with Jurassic park or lord of the rings where they're so good but no how much you like it you can still see the flaws and yell at them but hey thats were the fun is. But to say its the best Disney of film of its self eh no there are others who can knock this dead even if its Disney such as Winnie the pooh, Fantasia, and beauty and the beast can easily knock it sky high.
