Review of The Lion King (1994) by Dutch E — 28 Dec 2012
"The Lion King" is a dashingly fierce achievement from Disney, one with gripping scenes of delight and uncompromising beauty and charm. "The Lion King['s]" story, which is mainly centered on culpability, supremacy, and redemption, is a lot darker with only occasional touches of humor breaking through the melancholic presence of the story.
This movie at times even flares up deep emotions that many movies are not able to deliver to the audience. This movie, with Hans Zimmer's phenomenal score and memorable, well-developed characters is an instant animated classic with dazzling animation and unforgettable storytelling that will be remembered for generations to come.
