Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Hildie F — 21 Nov 2006
I love Katharine Hepburn, and the banter between her and O'Toole in this was absolutely fantastic. The only film that can rival this one, as far as her acting goes, is Rooster Cogburn where she totally takes on John Wayne and puts him in his place.
The version with Glen Close and Patrick Stewart just can't hold a candle to this one.
