Review of The Lion in Winter (1968) by Dark M — 23 Dec 2006
The script, artistry and chemistry between Hepburn and O'Toole are conspired to create the perfect vehicle to carry this tour de force. Wish they wrote scripts like this more today!!! Intelligent, darkly comic, biting, sarcastic and wise in ways we rarely see.
Enjoy it for what it is not for what you think you see!
